Our family in Ocala, Florida cooks every batch to 165°F, then freeze-dries it for a satisfying crunch and a meaty smell dogs can't resist.

How to serve: Give them whole to bigger dogs. Gizzards are a little firmer than our liver treats, so break or cut them into pieces for small dogs and training. Treats are meant to go along with a complete and balanced diet, so keep fresh water nearby.

In the bag: About 5 oz of freeze-dried chicken gizzards.

Storage: Keep the bag sealed tight in a cool, dry place and close it after each use.
